Introduction:

"A wealthy, powerful person in business or industry" that's the exact meaning of a Tycoon.

So how can you translate that to a rose? I think a 'wealthy' and 'powerful' rose is a rose which can draw the attention even when it's surrounded by a lot of other beautiful flowers.

We are going to find out if 'Tycoon' really is a powerful rose or it's just a strong name.

First Impression:

 It's a fresh looking rose with a very beautiful orange color and a medium sized bud.

At first sight this just looks like a nice 'normal' orange rose which can last at least a day or 10.

After 7 days:

The change of color and shape is really surprising, the rose started of orange and now is yellow with darker edges.

After 12 days:

The 'Tycoon' is getting more powerful every day! The dark edges disappeared and by now it's a big bright yellow rose with a lovely shape!

Conclusion:

It's the same old song again!!

You don't expect anything special because it just looks like a mainstream rose, after a couple of days you remember it's a Qualirosa variety and after 10 days it looks nothing like the first day.

Every time I walked pass  this rose I thought someone changed it for a completely different variety.

Although the change of color and shape is spectacular it doesn't even surprise me anymore, we've tested a lot of different varieties from a lot of different growers but Qualirosa is one of the growers which we absolutely admire. We can asure you their roses always have a vaselife of 12 days minimum and always open up.
